Job Summary:


Serve as an integral member our dynamic, global corporate legal department. Provide a wide variety of operational, paralegal, and administrative support services to the Vice President General Counsel, Associate General Counsel, and Paralegal. Partner with a range of personnel throughout all company departments to obtain information, increase coordination between departments, and provide appropriate information. Continue to promote the legal department’s image and values of being approachable, responsive, practical, transparent, and collaborative. Drive projects as needed to accomplish legal objectives for the business.




  • Serve as primary administrator for ligation-related claims:
      • process legal complaints
      • enter vital litigation information into database
      • respond to internal and external requests for information
      • create and generate reports and other support documents for internal teams
  • Proactively develop, implement, streamline, and oversee processes in functional areas, incorporating technology as appropriate. Coordinate processes across departments as appropriate.  
  • Perform a wide variety of operational and/or administrative tasks, including:
      • managing mailings
      • organizing, scanning and filing documents
      • scheduling meetings
      • preparing presentation materials
      • editing documents
      • performing data entry, printing, and other tasks as necessary
  • Manage payment of department invoices. Support the Legal Department’s budgeting, planning, and spend-tracking processes, liaising with Finance and driving reporting and analysis of Legal Department metrics.  
  • Develop and maintain database(s) and spreadsheets for tracking function-specific deadlines and statistics. 
  • Prepare and manage corporate governance documents with other department members, coordinate corporate governance actions with global offices, prepare information for meetings, and support maintenance of Directors and Officers. 
  • Contribute to internal company risk assessments and internal training presentations with respect to company policy, compliance policies, department processes, etc. Review and update company policies and other documentation to help ensure consistency and minimize risk.  
  • Update department’s internal website.  
  • Serve as an administrator or document manager on a variety of projects across a broad spectrum of corporate law topics such as contracts, employment law, and intellectual property. 
  • Perform research, data analysis, contract review, and other projects or tasks as needed.  


Complexity of Duties:


  • Work under general direction; ability to work independently. Detailed instruction given for new lines of work or special assignments. Independent exercise of judgment within established parameters is required, although some responsibilities are repetitive.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and be able to prioritize work effectively.  Must know the difference between what can be done independently and what must be passed through. 
  • Contacts are both internal and external, domestic and international, and along all levels within the Company.

  • Thorough working knowledge of computer software, including strong experience in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel; experience in PowerPoint preferred.

Education and/or Experience:


  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
  • 2-4 years of legal environment experience or equivalent preferred.
