Job Summary:

 

The Sr. Recruiter will drive Chesterton's talent acquisition recruiting operation to successfully source, attract, hire and retain talented people for key positions across all Chesterton departments.  You will be supported by a talented Candidate Care Coordinator/ Jr. Recruiter.  You must have manufacturing recruiting experience in order to be successful in this position.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Drive full life cycle recruiting process and personally own average requisition load of 30 positions
  • Source candidates using social media, Web 2.0 and old school sourcing methods
  • Establish collaborative working relationships with hiring managers and HR Business Partners Manage hiring manager expectations
  • Craft job descriptions to reflect the company’s values and employee value proposition
  • Triage organic applicants by screening resumes daily
  • Manage agency relationships, including temp agencies
  • Conduct phone and on-site interviews
  • Create and conduct hiring manager workshops on hiring best practices
  • Handle required (legal, ISO, and other) recordkeeping and documentation associated with recruitment activities
  • Represent the company at career fairs and events

  • Strong internet search skills---well beyond LinkedIn
  • Knowledge of best practices including the offer/accept dynamic
  • Knowledge of current technologies (ATS, HRIS, etc) with iCIMS a VERY STRONG plus
  • Experience with relocation and international visas a plus
  • A self-directed person with good judgment and high need to task completion
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • The ability to multi-task and follow through
  • Evidence of professional development and the ability to stay current on recruiting trends, market trends, etc.

Education and/or Experience:

 

  • 4+ years recruiting experience, with at least some of this experience being  in a manufacturing environment.  If you are a talented recruiter with fewer than 4 years of experience, tell us why you should be an exception.

 

Physical Demands: 

 

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, sit, talk or hear and reach with hands and arms. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision. Moderate noise (i.e.; computer printers, traffic) exists daily in the work environment.
