    Job Summary:

     

    Provides network administration and desktop support for the global network. The individual is generally assigned to a specific facility (i.e. Groveland), but may work temporarily at any facility as needs require.  Specific task direction is provided by Mgr. IT Technology and Innovation, or Manager, Network and Systems and VP of Information Technology.  

     

    Responsibilities:

     

    • Maintain all standard Windows operating systems and workstation operating environments
    • Maintain desktop E-Mail environment.
    • Maintain client connectivity to external access environment.
    • Maintain client connectivity to Ethernet and Wireless Networking environments.
    • Attend network conferences and trade shows as recommended.
    • Provide assistance to end users.
    • Actively answers help desk calls
    • Actively utilize Help Desk software.
    • Maintain end-user hardware and software.

    Complexity of Duties:

     

    • Works with minimum supervision, decisions are made based on pre-established policies and procedures.
    • Special instructions given for new assignments.
    • Higher level of authority necessary when working beyond semi-routine complexity.

    Education and/or Experience:  

             

    • College education, equivalent experience or significant military experience.
    • 1+ years experience with network/PC support.           

    Other Skills and Abilities:

     

    • Experience with PC’s, Windows, MS Office, E-Mail, Ethernet, Windows operating systems, Office 365 and SaaS systems.
    • Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or governmental regulations.
    • Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals.
    • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the general public.
    • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
    • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
    • Valid driver’s license.
    • A+ certification preferred but not required.
