Overview

We're seeking an exceptional analytics leader who can transform complex raw and online data into strategic commercial insights that drive successful performance across our industrial fluid processing business enterprise.

 

This role (to be filled at either Associate Director or Director level, depending on candidate experience) requires someone who combines strong analytical expertise with commercial acumen, leadership skills, and the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders.

Reporting to the Senior Director of Commercial Strategy, you will build out a small analytics team and create the analytics. Your group’s focus will be  translating data into actionable recommendations that optimize our current and future commercial success.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analytics Leadership: Execute the analytics strategy for commercial expansion planning and execution.
  • Translate business hypotheses into analytically-framed questions that can be answered by strong data analysis.
  • Develop analytical models that forecast launch performance scenarios and identify critical success factors for commercial business plans.
  • Communicate complex analyses through clear, compelling narratives, presentations and visuals that support strategic decision-makers.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with Commercial, Medical Affairs,
  • Develop and drive metrics and dashboards that track launch commercial launch readiness across enterprise workstreams.
  • Develop metric monitoring systems that identify potential launch risks and identify and predict target erosion.
  • Direct the analysis and synthesis of market insights related to targeted industries’ competitive dynamics, and global manufacturing behaviors. Transform market intelligence into actionable launch strategies for water/wastewater, mining, food, pharma, oil and gas solutions.

Minimum Qualifications and Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Analytics, Statistics, or very closely related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • For Associate Director: 5+ years of experience in commercial analytics roles outside academia/ project work.
  • For Director: 5+ years of experience in commercial analytics roles outside academia/project work AND demonstrated expertise in go to  market analytics with a track record of insights that influenced commercial strategies in B to B mining, water, wastewater, oil, gas, food or pharma projection or closely related industry.
  • Experience implementing analytics processes that ensure data quality, analytical consistency, and insights reliability.
  • Strong communication skills and fluency in English  with demonstrated ability to present clear, compelling data insights.
  • Successful track record collaborating with commercial leadership to integrate analytics throughout the organization.
  • Experience balancing resources between supporting a marketed product and pipeline analytics needs.
  • Strong proficiency in Python or R, and experience with libraries like TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, Pandas, NumPy etc.
  • Expertise in SQL and working with large-scale databases.
  • Strong knowledge of statistical modeling, machine learning, deep learning, and optimization technique
  • Demonstrated excellence in visual presentation of data via charts, graphs and other accessible visuals.
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools (AWS QuickSight or Matplotlib)
  • Familiarity with GIS and geospatial tools a plus.
  • Experience with A/B testing and causal inference techniques.
  • Background in SLAM, NLP, time-series forecasting, or recommendation systems.

We are willing to sponsor visas for people with OPT in hand. This role requires 3 days per week on site in Groveland, MA. Relocation is not available.
