Job Summary: |
The Logistics Support Services Coordinator is responsible for the administrative, liaison, coordination, and support services for the Logistics Department. This role prepares narrative and statistical reports, interfaces with management, cross functional organizations, and both internal/external customers. The Logistics Support Services Coordinator also participates in various supply chain projects as required to provide the most optimal support to our customers. |

Responsibilities: |
· Answer customer questions, set up the daily workflow, and release pick tickets. | · Responsible for cycle count reconciliation. | · Maintain accurate inventory counts through cycle counts and inventory management execution. | · Implement organizational strategies within the warehouse to improve efficiency and drive safety. | · Work closely with customer care teams to fulfill orders and coordinate shipping to meet customer demands. | · Lead process improvement initiatives aimed at driving more efficiency and reduced order processing time. | · Operate equipment safely and effectively within the warehouse such as pallet jacks, forklifts, etc. | · Create and distribute monthly activity reports to management. | · Create and distribute various logistics metrics to applicable departments and service providers. | · Develop and maintain databases and spreadsheets relative to logistics activities such as CRM processing transactions. | · Update the SQDIP board daily in preparation for the stand-up meeting. | · Review various reports; business unit, departmental and service provider for adherence to plan. | · Act as trainer to departments, both internal and external, on logistics procedures and assist with Continuous improvement activities, such as 5WHY and RCCA activities. | · Manage supply ordering (WB Mason, purchase requisitions). | · Maintain hazardous shipping certification and have ownership of haz-mat shipping practices for the facility. | · Complete various tasks as assigned. |
