This job can be described as:
Responsible for providing customer service. Solely responsible for review of all customer purchase orders for accuracy, technical information, and overall review. Involved in every facet of our business as it relates to sales, i.e., shipping, order entry, billing, credit marketing, as well as all subdivisions of manufacturing and engineering, information technology, quality and environmental. This position requires extensive communication between distributors, customers, and end-users around the world. Has administrative responsibility for day-to-day work and operations, staff training, scheduling including coordination of vacation and sick-time. Acts as back-up to the Supv. Account Executives. This position provides various support functions within the Manufacturing Cells. Must have the ability to run various types of equipment, utilize a variety of hand and power tools, use sound judgment in making decisions and capable of monitoring critical operations. Responsible for recognizing, correcting when possible, and reporting all operational variations. Assists in moving of material throughout the facility and/or cell as required. Performs direct labor/value added tasks within the area as required. Performs transactions in the Business Software System that includes, but is not limited to, material issues, scrap, closing Manufacturing Orders, reporting labor, and material transfers. May be required to occasionally set up and operate various machinery in the machine shop including manual mills and lathes and various CNC equipment. May perform equipment maintenance.

- Sets up and operates the Lapping machines to lap, polish and/or rework various faces while adhering to manufacturing work instructions.
- Utilizing “Loctite” materials performs the final sealing operation on faces and holders to insure that there is no leakage between the face and holder. Pressure testing is required to validate the parts.
- Performs de-burring operations, utilizing drill presses, polishers and other hand held power tools, removes burrs and sharp edges from machined parts. Care must be exercised as a part can be ruined by over de-burring.
- May assist with material handling activities and the movement of hazardous waste and raw material (bar & tube stock). Will move finished components from the Manufacturing Cells to the Assembly Cells.
- Stamp and identify parts utilizing vibro-peen, electro-etch, automated marking machines, and metal stamps following Engineering standards and specifications.
- Performs transactions in the Business Management System pertaining to closing manufacturing orders, material issues and scrap, and material movement between work areas. The transactions are critical to maintaining accurate inventory levels, accounting for raw material usage and accounting for labor hours spent.
- Consults work orders and interprets to determine specific customer requirements.
- Works under general direction from supervisor.
- Basic level of job knowledge required to perform routine assembly and sub-assembly operations.
- Ability to work according to written/verbal instructions and procedures which will ensure safety on the job and efficient, effective assembly process.

The NC Operator I is a frontline manufacturing position responsible for operating Numerical Control machine tools including, but not limited to, lathes, millers, EDM, etc., as needed to manufacture metal or plastic components. One or more machines may be running at the same time. Inspects work and performs quality checks to ensure conformance to Engineering DWGS. Will record data for SPC, either manually or electronically. Works as part of a team and must be willing to support quality and production goals.

A typical day at work would include:
- Operates Numerical Control machine tools in a cellular environment, including lathes and millers. Does minor tool set up involving changing inserts, end mills, drills, counter sinks, etc.
- Operates machine controller to download (electronically transfer) part program files.
- Performs work from operation and planning packages, which include process sheets, tooling lists, set-up sheets, program code and blueprints.
- Inspects work and performs Quality checks and records data for SPC as required. Stops process and notifies supervisor when parts measure Out-of-Tolerance.
- Maintains safe and clean work area daily. Keeps informed of and follows machine shop safety policies and procedures.
- Checks own work with Inspection tools, gauges, micrometers, indicators, etc., and has work cross- checked by a Quality Control Inspector.
- May be required to deburr parts; do subassembly work, press pins, and /or faces into fabricated components; mark, etch, stamp or engrave as needed to complete a part in a cellular component.
- May be required to perform other manufacturing support functions as needed.
- This specific role/function is subject to our On-Call Policy and may be required to remain available during off-schedule hours to support the business needs.

Sets up, maintains and operates various packaging equipment for our chemical coatings products. Fills containers of varying size according to shop orders. Handles hazardous raw materials and finished goods. Operates fork truck and other machines on a regular basis. Maintains and/or monitors the quality of packages. - Utilizes Aerosol Labeler machine as required to label aerosol cans. Uses Bar Coding Computer.
- Places filled containers/cartons on skids and prepares for shipping/warehousing. Prepares relevant documentation.
- Disposes properly of hazardous waste.
- Cleans packaging equipment and work area according to safety procedures.
- Returns excess material to inventory.
- Responsible for receiving and handling bulk materials.

The Shipper / Receiver is responsible for a wide variety of tasks involved in the order fulfillment of customer orders, shipping, receiving and warehousing of raw materials, finished goods supplies, and equipment. The co-op student will work with three engineering teams to gain a varied exposure to product development, CAD design, and test engineering. This co-op position has a primary focus with new product development of custom products for specialized rotation equipment. The job will be focused in the design and development of products, as well as qualification testing to verify performance.
Responsibilities:
• Participate in plant activities in support of designing and production of custom products to eliminate process fluid leakage from rotation equipment and reducing usage of water and environmental damage.
• Apply classroom concepts to learn engineering & operations processes.
• Participate in production and engineering project meetings.
• Assist with process optimization activities using Lean Principles.
• Conduct data analysis and calculations necessary to collect, interpret, and act on design trials and activities.
• Write engineering analysis and test reports in support of activity conclusions.
• Implement Metrics for process times and project schedules.
• Participate in Kaizen and Lean activities.
Education and/or Experience:
• Full-time student enrolled in a 4-year college or university
• Preferred overall GPA of 3.0 or better, 3.2 GPA in major course of study.
• Minimum of Sophomore Standing
• Applicants must be pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Engineering Technology.
• Experience with CAD, SolidWorks preferred.

Job Summary:
Responsible for day to day operations of the manufacturing cell. Coordinates and plans work schedules. Assists in the moving of material throughout the facility and/or cells as required. Performs direct labor/value added tasks within the cell as required. Sets up and runs cell meetings. This job can be described as:
Develops design layouts, creates 3-Dimensional models, and 2-Dimensional drawings of complex new products (mechanical/electrical). Work is performed under general direction from engineers and customers with minimum supervision. Independently determines and develops approach to work and solutions that often require considerable initiative and independent judgment. Work/final plans are reviewed/checked for accuracy by engineer and/or Drafting Supervisor upon completion. Provides technical leadership to drafters and engineering personnel with product and CAD related issues/problems. May be required to act as the Drafting Supervisor in his/her absence. Develops new drafting processes to improve delivery time using CAD tool and product knowledge. Provides assistance and mentoring to other CAD groups as required.

Job Summary:
Sets up and operates a full range of conventional machine shop equipment, including lathes, millers and Bridgeport's boring mills. Setting up, programming, and operating basic CNC equipment to perform work involving moderate to routine set-ups and close to critical tolerances on various material types. Performs complex and diversified machining operations. Inspects work and performs quality checks to ensure conformance to engineering drawings. Cross checks fellow machinists and advises of any quality issues. May contribute and advise engineering regarding design. Works as part of a team - must be willing to support the team and collaborate to support quality and production goals. May train other machinists as required.
Job Model: On-Site
All fully remote positions will require you to travel on site 2-4 times per month depending upon business needs at your own expense.
Hybrid positions will require employees to work both on-site and remote each week under a schedule that has been determined and agreed upon by you and your manager.
On-Site positions will require employees to work on-site for each of their scheduled shifts.
Responsibilities:
- Sets up and operates full range of conventional machine shop equipment, including, lathes, millers, Bridgeport's, boring mills.
- Sets up, programs and operates CNC equipment. Work involves moderate to complex set-ups and close to critical tolerances on various material types.
- Develops and fabricates fixtures as needed.
- Performs complex, diversified machining operations necessary to produce the Company's manufacturing products as well as experimental/prototype precision parts for field testing/test lab.
- Machine work is performed from standard documentation, rough sketches, preliminary drawings, verbal discussions, and samples.
- Inspects own work and performs quality checks to ensure conformance to engineering drawings. Cross checks fellow machinists and advises of any quality issues. Must support Chesterton Quality policies.
- Maintains safe and clean work area on a day-to day basis.
- Keeps informed of and follows machine shop safety policies and procedures.
Complexity of Duties:
- Works under general direction. No instructions needed on routine work. General guidance provided upon request for special assignments.
- Manufactures complex components.
- Advanced knowledge and understanding of all standard equipment in machine shop.
- Performs diversified and complex machining operations. Works on the most difficult assignments.
- Exercises independent judgment in determining fabrication methods to be used. Frequently required to improvise and to use shop mathematics.
- May contribute and advise engineering regarding design.

Job Summary:
Provide sales, service and technical support for specific end user sales territories. Develop and implement territory sales strategies. Responsible for meeting sales and expense budget objectives. Provide and direct the tactical execution of conceptual sales strategies and implementation of contractual agreements. Depending on territory location, may be required to obtain TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential) from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.

Responsibilities:
- Achieve the sales budget for a defined group of user customers.
- Manage activity with area expense budget.
