The ERP Software Developer provides business analysis and system development in an internet, intranet, client/server environment including maintenance of existing software. Utilizes application development tools and software utilities. Analyzes project requirements, designs database architecture and produces functioned specifications.  Experienced with all stages of software development cycle.

  • Dynamics AX development including X++ and general ERP System Integration

Serve as an integral member our dynamic, global corporate legal department. Provide a wide variety of operational, paralegal, and administrative support services to the Vice President General Counsel, Associate General Counsel, and Paralegal. Partner with a range of personnel throughout all company departments to obtain information, increase coordination between departments, and provide appropriate information. Responsibilities:

 

  • Serve as primary administrator for ligation-related claims:
      • process legal complaints
      • enter vital litigation information into database

Job Summary:

 

Performs general operations necessary for department manufacturing. Must have the ability to run various types of equipment, utilize a variety of hand and power tools, use sound judgment in making decisions and capable of monitoring critical operations. Responsible for recognizing, correcting when possible, and reporting all operational variations. Performs periodic quality control analyses as required to complete in-process production. May perform equipment maintenance.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Consults production reports to determine tools needed for days production. Consults mold location charts, retrieves molds and places press to be reheated. Must be capable of reading instructions, reading and understanding graphic charts, and following a sequence of events. Must be capable of lifting up to fifty (50) pounds, utilizing supportive lifting equipment for heavier items and/or assistance from another employee.
  • Moves molds throughout the production process requiring the ability to operate simple to moderately difficult machines with up to five (5) or six (6) steps.
  • Utilizes prying equipment requiring the use of both arms and a moderate level of strength.
  • Uses sharp tools, i.e., exacto knives, razor blades and operates band saws to cut materials. This requires manual dexterity and adhering to proper procedures.
  • Performs a variety of repetitive tasks and utilizes a variety of hand and power tools, i.e., cutting and sanding machines. Performs simple lathe and drill press operations.
  • Consults work orders and interprets to determine specific customer requirements.
  • Performs quality control functions requiring the ability to use judgment and make decisions, i.e., inspecting a seal against predetermined specifications and deciding whether to accept or reject. Job Summary:

 

The primary responsibility for the first two years of this role will be the establishment of project management function/ project management office for the company, serving all departments across the enterprise. As on-going responsibility, lead a wide range of activities in support the establishment of the technical function, architecture and systems for the Project Management discipline at Chesterton.

 

 

Responsibilities During Set-Up Phase:

 

  • Lead planning and establishment of central Project Management function for all Chesterton companies.
  • Inventory current processes and evaluate for incorporation into Project Management architecture
  • Determine recommendations for one company-wide project management process, including one software system.
  • Conduct stakeholder analysis to determine company needs
  • Determine essential resources for Project Management Office and propose to Executive Committee and Leadership Team.
  • Establish companywide project management standard tools, techniques and templates
  • Provide internal training and certification for project management skills

Ongoing Responsibilities:

 

  • Deliver Level 1, Level 2 and Level 3 project management training
  • Provide strong support for Associate Project Managers in their project facilitation
  • Develop and deliver standardized reports to monitor project timeliness, budget and impact
  • Lead 3-5 project teams for Hoshin Kanri-process identified projects
  • Working with Chesterton’s Continuous Improvement team, make recommendations to improve existing processes and/or documentation systems or suggest new processes to improve quality or on-time delivery of projects.
  • Directly provide support after training, and communicate results and updates (as required).

Job Summary:

 

Operates Numerical Control machine tools including, but not limited to, lathes, millers, EDM, etc, as needed to manufacture metal components. One or more machines may be running at the same time. Inspects work and performs quality checks to ensure conformance to Engineering Drawings. Will record data per inspection plan, either manually or electronically. Works as part of a team, and must be willing to support quality and production goals. Cross checks other cell operators’ work for first piece inspection and advises of any quality issues.

Responsibilities:

 

  • Operates Numerical Control machine tools in a cellular environment, including lathes and millers. Does minor tool set up involving changing inserts, end mills, drills, counter sinks, etc.
  • Operates machine controller to down load (electronically transfer) part program files.
  • Performs work from operation and planning packages, which include process sheets, tooling lists, set-up sheets, program code and blueprints.
  • Inspects work and performs Quality checks and records data per inspection plans as required. Makes necessary changes to tooling, offsets, feeds, and speeds to produce in spec parts.
  • Exercises independent judgment in determining adjustments to be made to machinery to produce parts to meet drawing dimensions. Must support Chesterton Quality Policies.
  • Maintains safe and clean work area on a daily basis. Keeps informed of and follows machine shop safety policies and procedures.
  • Performs minor set-ups that include changing fixtures on the miller, changing tool holders on both lathes and millers, and make electronic tooling offsets to adjust tool position and piece part characteristics.

Complexity of Duties:

 

  • Works under general supervision. May take direction from supervisor, lead man, or trainer. Follows detailed operation process planning, written, and/or verbal instructions.
  • Checks own work with inspection tools, gauges, micrometers, indicators, etc., and has work cross-checked by a Quality Control Inspector.
  • May be required to deburr parts; do subassembly work, press pins, and /or faces into fabricated components; mark, etch, stamp or engrave as needed to complete a part in a cellular environment.
